Thanks, Don!
The January edition of the recorded continuous airing of "Swingin' West" has just come up on the Internet on twangtownusa.com. It will be on 24 hours a day seven days a week, over and over, for the entire month.
The theme for this month, January, is songs from Spade Cooley by others in Western Swing. Among the sounds you will hear are the fantastic Time Jumpers with recently deceased steel legend John Hughey on steel as well as their vocalist Carolyn Martin from her hit solo CD with guest John England, the Cooley band themselves and the Windy Wood band.
You will enjoy Annie B, the Nashville Swing Band featuring the great Buddy Spicher, Ben Stafford Rodgers and Eddie McAlvain’s sax player Stan Schroeder from one of his own CDs.
Also heard are the late Sean Blackburn with Liz Masterson a tune from Albuquerque New Mexico’s Curio Cowboys, The Western Dixie band under the direction of Gary Lawrence and young and talented Ginny Mac. There is also a Texas dance hall time group with Jody Nix, Susan Rose with Hank Pell on steel and Buddie Hrabal & Memory Lane.
The recorded edition of "Swingin' West" can always be heard by clicking the mouse on the appropriate spot on the bottom of the home page of the "Swingin' West" web site, www.swinginwest.com

I've been listening to Swingin West since Early 1980S,I Will Never give up the Ship.Ernest Tubb was right when he said it's the best music in the world.I also want to thank Rick Martinez For finding it on his radio & called me to tell me he found a guy in connecticut playing Western Swing. Mike I Want to thank you too for all that great music.
