John Powers, a songwriter I play with, just posted on his myspace page a tune we recorded in his basement "studio" a few months back. It's called "Inside out" and is the first item in his list of tunes on the page. It will probably auto-start if you go to the page.

We had played in Brooklyn at Hank's the night before and I had taken the StageOne for load-in/ load-out expedience. I crashed at John's house post gig 'cause it's a long way home for me from Brooklyn... anyway, long story longer:

the next AM John said he wanted me to lay some steel trax down. What you hear is the StageOne that Doug Earnest built for me thru my Twin Reverb with the Weber California 15". I think the mic was a shure 57. What I played is pretty simple, straightforward playing-for-the-song; nothin' flashy. But that li'l guitar it sure sounds good in the mix, at least to me

The other tracks with steel on John's page feature Forumite Jon Graboff. I don't know what he plays... what do you play Jon?
