Annual Northwest Georgia Steel Guitar Show

Post by Jerry Braswell »

Musicians and Friends,
Our annual steel guitar show is coming February 10, 2008. We have some great steel players lined up to make this show one you won't want to miss. Headlining this year's show will be Terry Crisp from Nashville. Terry, as you know, worked with such artist as Ricky Shaggs, Reba and Joe Nichols. Along with Terry we will have Herby Wallace, Larry Sasser and many of Georgia's finest players. I'm sure we will have a great time. As usual all of our proceeds go to the Shriners Hospitals for Children. Put this date on your calander and make plans to join up for some great music, food and fellowship. I will add to this post later. Have a wonderful New Year.

You can always depend on Jerry Braswell to put on a great show.
There is a huge amount of talent in this organization, just in the Atlanta Area.
And this is to benefit The Shriners Childrens Hospitals, No Better Cause.

Miss Lana I would love for you to make it to one of our shows, I know you would have a good time. I know you would know a lot of the players that would be performing.
As soon as we have the line up confirmed we will post it along with direction to the music place.
Each year we have been so fortunate to top the previous year with our donation to the Shriners Hospital, we are hoping we will be able to say this again next year. I thank all who particpate in our show each year. We have has so many known players from Nashville to give of their time and talents to help us with our show and this year is no exception. In the past we have had such players as John Hughey, Herby Wallace, Russ Hick, Randy Beavers, Larry Sasser, Smiley Roberts, Rob Parker and list goes on and on. This year we have Terry Crisp heading up our guest list. We do hope that you will make plans to join us on Feburary 10, 2008 at the Yaarab Shrine Center 400 Ponce de Leon Ave. Atlanta, Georgia.

More information will follow at a later time.

Annual Northwest Georgia Steel Guitar Show

Post by Ronnie Tibbitts »

Jerry has another great show lined up for us this year. I look forward to seeing everyone at the Yaarab Shrine Auditorium on February 10th. In the past we've been fighting the Super Bowl for our show. We've changed the date this year, so maybe we will see all those who weren't able to make the shows in the past.

Plenty of parking and room for vendors to set up.

Make plans to join us there!

11:00 Bob Strum

3:30 Randy Sorrells (n/c)
4:00 Steve Hinson

We hope Montgomery Gentry's tour schedule is going to allow one of our local heros, Randy Sorrells, to be in town so that he can play a set on his old Emmons. We'll know in a couple of days.

Also, if your interested in playing on a future Atlanta show let me know in the coming weeks.

We hope to see you all there.

Hi Gang,
Steve I hate that you will be unable to be a part of our show, hopefully next time. I just saw the line-up of players, and as Porter would say I believe we gonna have a good one boys. I'm looking forward to hearing some good music. I hope to see you all there.
