Here it is after 9:00pm and I still haven't heard one note. I've downloaded winamp twice, signed up for $50 worth of software from RealPlayer 8, plus $9.95 per month and not a note. I may go to Circuit City for a whole new rig, but first I'm going to try turning my present "window" to face the south. This may work. It will be cheaper to catch the next plane for St Louis and check the action live. |

Did you download WINAMP "lite"? I avoid all the extras when possible. Also, after you download it it must be installed. Did you get the installation prompt?
Try going through the WINAMP radio links. I'll get the link and post it here.

Success! Thanks Eric. I'm hearing it now. All I have to do now is cancel RealPlayer. |

Open the WINAMP player before you click on the 'listen to SteelRadio' link on the site. Until I turned on the player it was sending me to a page at: streamingcasino.com. I have missed the whole thing so far. Great isn't it...
Here I thought it was only going to be for an hour or so. Did anybody tape Charleton? LMK

Thank's for a great program from the Steel Convention. I used MusicMatch Jukebox and didn't have any trouble listening to Tommy White's portion, (that's when I tuned in) along with Lloyd Green's portion either. I did refresh my screen several times to help keep the stream coming, and I was able to record their performances with no trouble at all. When they broke for dinner/supper, I did not try to listen anymore. I'm sure I missed a lot of good pickin', (like Jimmy Crawford) but had other things to do. I think the Broadcast was GREAT! |

As mentioned in another thread, use this link to listen if you're using Real Player:

It's coming across great here in San Francisco. I had to work today anyway, but now I'm cranking the Convention while I'm here!

I am using Winamp and no problem at all. Real player wants to be my default. You have to cancel that. This show was a great thing for Steel Guitar. I hope Rich has great success......al |
