We'll be playing at the Wichita Moose Grand Ballroom in Wichita Kansas this New Years. I think they have a few seats left, available by reservation if anyone is interested.

Unless we get a last minute call I'll be at home trying to stay up to watch people in New York City freezing. We were supposed to be in Reading Pa. but I guess it fell through. It'll be the first NYE at home in a long time.

Yeah, like some others, I won't be playing NYE..by choice. I've played at least 25 New Years gigs and left my wife alone too many times (her choice) ...time to treat her right and take her out to a nice party.
Plus a New England NYE can be quite a treacherous drive in snowy weather.
But god bless you guys keeping it country for the rest of us.

I'll be at London Hall, in London, Texas with Johnny Dickinson and the Big Country Band. That's 100 miles from my house. I sure dread the drive back home. I'll get hoome about 3:30 AM. We play there once a month, so I'm kinda used to it.

Well so far it looks like approximatly 60% of us are picking some where and 40% choosing to take the Holidays off.

I'm sure everyone will have a good time! :D

Put me down for membership in the (GIGLESS STEEL PLAYERS CLUB) this NYE. This will be my first one without a gig after 16 years. Maybe it's the economy. . . .I usually get double the normal amount of money for our band on that night, but I couldn't find anyone willing to pay that much. We are however playing saturday evening 12/29/07 (2 nights before NYE) at VFW post #5706 in Franklin, KY. They've scheduled they're New Years Dinner & Dance celebration that night. We're getting the regular amount I usually charge to play there, but it's a great gig! Anyway, Happy New Years everybody from me and all the Country Junction Boys.
