The December edition of the recorded continuous airing of "Swingin' West" has just come up on the Internet on twangtownusa.com. It will be on 24 hours a day seven days a week, over and over, for the entire month.

The theme for this month, December, is another composer’s tribute to Cindy Walker. Among the sounds you will hear are the fantastic Time Jumpers with recently deceased steel legend John Hughey on steel as well as their vocalist Carolyn Martin from her hit solo CD, Texas’ Reid Wells & Segovia 1862 and Gunsmoke’s Nick DeMaio from his latest solo CD.

You will enjoy the great Leon Rausch with a demo of a rare Cindy Walker composition, Johnny Bush and Texas legend Jim Gough. From Oklahoma you will hear Les Gilliam, Candy Noe and long time Western Swing favorite Curly Lewis.

Also heard are the late Sean Blackburn with Liz Masterson and also with Dakota Dave Hull as well as Walt Roberts, Dayna Wills, Don Edwards, and the Light Crust Doughboys with Art Greenhaw on vocal. Steel guitarist Jerry Fessenden closes the show with the theme.

The recorded edition of "Swingin' West" can always be heard by clicking the mouse on the appropriate spot on the bottom of the home page of the "Swingin' West" web site, www.swinginwest.com

Thank You!

Mike Gross

Don,

Thanks so very much for the kind words. Of course there is also some fantastic steel playing on there with John Hughey on the first two cuts and then Bob Kelly on the third. Then it just keeps coming!

Thanks so very much, Don!

Yes, the show should change to a new one in a week or so. Listen to and enjoy the current one before it changes.

Don,

Thanks for the bump! For those who haven't heard the December show give it a listen now as the January show will probably go up some time this weekend.
