I'll be in the Boston, MA area the last week in Dec. & was wondering if anyone knows of any pedal steel happenings/gigs/shops in the area?

| On Sat nite, Dec. 29th and Mon.,31st, N.Y. eve , a great pedal player , Roger Trahan , will be at The Amer. Legion. Bean Post with the "Cindy Lane True Country" band. A great group doing good country music !! Location is at 18 Hollis St., S. Weymouth, Ma. off Rt. 18, just south of Boston. Go check them out !! You'll be glad you did !! One of the few bands left that feature steel !! and he's a good un !! Eddie "C" ( the old non-pedal geezer ) |

Thanks for the info Eddie, do I need to know anyone to get into the American Legion?
Are there any PSG focused shops in the area, I got nothin' but mail order here in Nebraska! |

| Hi Walter !! There aren't any PSG shops in the Boston area that I am aware of !! Compared to guitar there just aren't that many steel players around !! I guess everyone deals by mail for steel stuff !! A few places like in Texas , Nashville , Scottys in St. Louis and maybe Calif.has some PSG specialty shops ?? The Legion club admits everyone , just a $5.oo admission at the door , but I think N.Y. eve is by reservation. Good luck !! Eddie "C" ( the old non-pedal geezer ) |

| Every Wednesday at the Lizard Lounge in Cambridge the Dennis Brennan Band plays. Kevin Barry and Duke Levine are the guitar players. Kevin plays some amazing lap stuff, and Duke might be the best guitarist I have ever seen. It is definitely worth checking out! |
