Just recieved the first of Roy's tabs and I must say they look great. Coupled with his beautiful recordings to match the easy to read tab you can't go wrong. Just in time to expand your Christmas play list.

Received several of Roy's tabs and MP3s this morning. These arrangements are the perfect way to start off the season and get in the Christmas spirit. These truly demonstrate what lap steel guitar is all about. Simple, yet hauntingly beautiful melody.

Craig, if you tune your Rick (low to high) A C E G A C E G or G A C E G A C E most all C6 six string tabs will work as your only gonna be playin on C E G A C E. Roy should have something to get you started and his tabs are great.

I now have 11 Christmas Songs which I can
send in a Zip File Format (Thanks Andy for your
help)
I have added Frosty The Snowman, O Christmas Tree,
Here Comes Santa and Let it Snow. Two of the songs
are for eight string but will work on a 6 string as
well. Very Happy

Tab and MP3's and a cover page with CONTENTS

Hello Roy, The Christmas tabs and music are great. I'm having pretty good practices with "O Little Town".Should i work on one song at a time or try learning more than one? The position instructions were
very helpful. Thanks AGAIN ...........Craig

Hi Craig,

I am pleased to hear you are working on the Christmas
music.

I usually work two songs when learning new material.
That way if I get frustrated with one I can switch to the other. Smile If you are new to steel guitar take
your time and pay direct attention to basics ie
the material I sent to you. Without technique you can play all you want but it won't sound right.

Keep in touch.

Roy

I've been working on "Cashdollars" Cold Cold Heart. Got
the tune down but still working on technique. The Christmas music is a relief from the same thing every day. Went back to basics as you instructed and i sure
missed a lot. It should be easy learning new stuff when
there are no habits to break. Still learning to move the bar forward and backward. I'll keep you posted on any progress. Practice, Practice, Practice........C.R.
