1956 Fender D8 Stringmaster - 24.5" Scale Length

Post by Mark Ardito »

I am selling my 1956 D8 Fender Stringmaster guitar. I no longer need this guitar now that I have my D10 Sho~Bud. I used to gig with this guitar twice a month, but no longer take it out of the house since I got the Bud last year. It is in GREAT working order and it sounds amazing. Everything on this guitar is stock (at least that I can tell). Notice that it has the push button pick-up selector instead of the normal slider. The tone-blenders are under the bridge covers and they work perfectly. The scale length is 24.5". The case is in OK shape, still closes and latches just fine....just normal wear and tear for a case from 1956. I don't have strings on the rear neck because I was messing around with an E13 tuning the other day and didn't like it...now I'm changing back to my old version of E13, but need more strings :( Guitar store was closed... :(

My asking price is $1600.00 and buyer to pay shipping. I would LOVE to have someone from the forum get this guitar rather than someone from eBay.

OK, here's the pictures:
