Kinda looks like they added a $#!+load of lucite to some old steel.

It gives me an idea for a project. That can't be that difficult to build. But one should go the whole hog and construct the frame out of lucite, too. You know, you could have several lights inside of different colors and change the color of the instrument for each number. I've always liked the idea of an illuminated fingerboard.
