I happened upon this guy's videos on youtube and was blown away. His speed playing and his touch and tone on slower stuff is just amazing. To find him type in zumemm on you tube. Obviously he plays a Zum and an Emmons and does them both proud! Does anyone know who he is and is he a forum member? Gheck him out, I think this is some of the finest steel I have seen in a while. If you ever get a chance to watch Gary in person, IMO, it's a whole lot better comin' straight from his amp and he's one of the nicest guys I've ever met.

I think he's a fake.

Among the 53.568 things i can't understand in his playing, the "chirp-chirp-creeeek" -sounds in some of his vids is humanly impossible to make with steel.

Or it could be the stuff he puts on his bagels every morning that causes that sound Laughing

Charles, I didn't change a thing! Peter doctered up the PIC, he feels a GFI is more suited for my needs.

Well today, for lunch, we went down the pike, stopped at a popular place and as I was having my "corn beef on rye", I told my wife that her bagel might have been made by a friend of mine. Just a little human interest story.

You know Charles, a bagel is nothing more than a donut dipped in cement...and BTW, our retail flagship shop had a line out the door today, almost a block long. I mean, whats not to like? Its Christmas Day; fresh bagels with a schmere, corn beef on white w/mayo too...ouy gutenu. I'm so coRnfused and yes, I'm reeking of an onion bagel right now. Not because I ate one, if fact, I don't eat bagels...I see them, talk about, smell them all year round. I need a drink, some libation...
