Mike Wilson youtube video for C6th fans

Post by Mike Wilson »

Not sure about the url. Probably the easiest way to get to it is type in topdeckE9 in the search bar. The newest video is Nite Life. I'm no Buddy Emmons but I wanted to take a crack at it.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rd-o4LpGdck

Hey Mike, no fair looking at the pedals. :)

Great playing Mike, keep it up. I've always enjoyed tunes played on C-6th. Post more C-6th tunes.

C6th tune on youtube

Post by Mike Wilson »

Thanks for all the great comments. Oh, I'll try not to look at the pedals in the future. I haven't been playin C6th that long and that 8th pedal gives me trouble sometimes. I'm workin on it though. Again thanks for the compliments. They are appreciated.

That was great Mike!! I also listened to you play that Herby Wallace tune ("Dream" I think) on the other U-tube post. Sound great! I started my attempt at C6 about 9 months ago. I love that tuning but for me it's pretty slow going. Sounds like you are doing very well at it!! Very enjoyable.
Thanks for posting !!

Mike, what can be said? Tremendous tone and immaculate fingering and bar work. Wow!! Love that C6 sound and even with the bossa kick it comes out big band sound. Super listening, and a real pleasure. :D :D

Hey Mike, you sound even better than you did when we worked together 20 some odd years ago. Don't look any better, but play better..
I know, I owe you a phone call and will get to it soon.
Take care Buddy,
