No doubt the ultimate showman!! :D Plays pretty good steel guitar to! :D

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but that sure sounds like a Joe version of 'In the Mood' 8) :D

Mr. Joe Wright/ the Comedy King Of Steel Guitar

Hey Larry; I agree with you whole-heartedly; I believe Joe to be the best thing to come along in many years; his facial expressions are worth a thousand notes of music; and what a grand job he just did on Merle's number one hit " So Afraid Of Losing You Again". And how many steel players can do that well at backing them-selves while singing a tune. A number one entertainer, that's for sure. We all need a little humor, once in a while. I'd love to see him in person, also, Larry. :D :whoa:

I've seen Joe in person twice here in Central FL. His shows are great. He is tops on everything from the pure country E9th sound to fuzzed out rock, like Skynard. An amazing talent, for sure. Pretty good at "mulit-tasking" too.

Does anyone besides Joe, know what distortion unit he is using? Just curious.

MSA Millennium, Legend, and Studio Pro, Reese's restored Universal Direction guitar, a restored MSA Classic SS, several amps, new and old, and a Kemper Powerhead that I am really liking. Also a Zum D10, a Mullen RP, and a restored Rose S10, named the "Blue Bird". Also, I have acquired and restored the plexiglass D10 MSA Classic that was built as a demo in the early '70s. I also have a '74 lacquer P/P, with wood necks, and a showroom condition Sho-Bud Super Pro.

Darvin, The last time I saw Joe he was using a RAT distortion. Not sure which model though.

I use what I think is the cheapest RAT and it really serves its purpose for me.

Hope this helps.
Keep pickin', Larry
