I wrote this one especially for Sylvia when she was in hospital, Sylvia is Roy Heap's very special partner. Roy Heap is the man behind the "British Steelies Society."

Dave, really nice, beautiful tone; more chords than I knew existed. Did you say somewhere that you were going to tab these? If you do a tab on Sylvias Waltz, I'd like to take a stab at it... 8)

Hello again Stan, I'm not very good at doing TAB but I will certainly have a go at it for you, It may take me a while. I'm really pleased that you like it, I have one or two others that I have written, well written is the wrong word really, I suppose I mean composed, eventually I'll get to put them on YouTube. The trouble is I rarely get to play these numbers as I don't work with a band anymore and I have nowhere at home to practice in private, very difficult. Thanks again Stan I'll see what I can do for you with the TAB, bear with me!

Hi Dave,
Finally I discovered who Shakey is. I told you on YouTube and it bears repeating here: You play with a great deal of sensitivity and feeling.
Absolutely top rate!
I can't believe how many great steel players England has produced!
Please keep the tunes coming!

Thank you Paul for your compliment, yes it is an M.S.A. S12 called "The Universal" though at the moment it is set up extended E9 with 4 pedals & 5 knee levers. As for equipment, well I haven't played in a band for nearly ten years so I don't have much to speak of. I have just built a lovely 100watt amp which I've loaded with a Blue Marvel speaker and that sounds really nice, other than that I use an Ernie Ball pedal because I find them very smooth and a Digitech RP250 Multi FX. I've always used Digitech, yet to find anything to beat them. For recording on the computer, Youtube etc., I just plug the Digitech straight into the soundcard, (Creative X-Fi.) I have never been a fast or fancy player, I suppose you could say I'm not very adventurous but it's not that , I just know my limitations. Thanks again and with a bit of luck I may get to do a few more.
Cheers Dave.
