Steel hymn

Post by Uffe Edefuhr »

Her´s a link to my first try on the webb. A small try on an old swedish hymn. Cut with my small digital camera! After having a 16 year long break in steeling, its nice to sit behind a steel guitar again!

Very nice. You're getting a rich full tone out of that G.F.I., I like it.

Uffe, very good, I like it, I like it....after 16yr away from steel, didn't hurt you any. If I could play like that after 16yr of practice :!:
Do some more on the Tube...

Uffe,
I am in the same boat. I am getting back into it after being away for 20 years. It sure is a struggle. Sixty-year old fingers will just not move as fast and easy. But...perfect practice makes perfect!
It's been years since I heard Blott en dag. Thanks for playing it. It meant a lot. How about an encore? Let me suggest another hymn: Bli hos meg (Abide with me)
Take care...and keep up the good work!
Bent
