New Continuous Hour of "Swingin' West"- Mike Gross
The October edition of the recorded continuous airing of "Swingin' West" has just come up on the Internet on twangtownusa.com. It will be on 24 hours a day seven days a week, over and over, for the entire month.
The theme for this month, October, is the Top “Swingin’ West” song for the years 1999-2006 plus a Texas dance hall grouping and a Western concert group of tunes. Among the sounds you will hear are New York City’s fantastic Western Caravan, Texas’ Reid Wells & Segovia 1862 and California’s Stardust Cowboys.
From the Bob Wills band you can also enjoy the late Joe Andrews, his vocalist from “For Last Time” Jody Nix and from Johnnie Lee Wills, his son John T. Wills. From Oklahoma you will hear Les Gilliam and Peggy Rains and from Missouri, Bill J. Dobkins.
Also heard are Craig Chambers, Ray Price, Wade Benson Landry, Jerry Webb and Joe Paul Nichols dong Chuck Cusimano’s “Eleven Eighteen Nadine Lane.” Bobby Flores closes the show with the theme.
The recorded edition of "Swingin' West" can always be heard by clicking the mouse on the appropriate spot on the bottom of the home page of the "Swingin' West" web site, www.swinginwest.com
Thank You!

Steve,
It is always my pleasure to play the Western Caraven on "Swingin' West." They are an awesome band and deserve to be heard out of the NYC area where they play live. John Widgren plays some wonderful steel on all of their recordings.
As a side note all should know that there are two other fine steel players in the band, lead guitarist Skip Krevins and the bass player Steve Alcott.
