I am now mixing this song. " A Song for Joelie" for my next CD, "Steel Having Fun III" The album will be mostly C6th, but I'll add a few slow E9th's. This new Album is all about just having fun. Thanks, Ron

Hi Jim! and thanks! I E-mailed John to let him know there are no tabs available yet ! I haven't recorded the song in the studio yet. When I do there are a few changes I'll make on it. What you are hearing is the steel being played live into the Nashville 400 W/DD6 and a EV Mic, into the camcorder. The rhythm tracks are playing in the background. When the album is complete I should have the tabs. I will E-mail you to let you know. Thanks for listening. Ron

Thanks Brother, Thats a very nice compliment coming from someone who plays steel as smooth as you do. Forum members and guests would love to watch you pick. I remember those West Texas days, You were working at a club called (The Bigger than Dallas Club). I was at the stardust club, a few blocks down the road, At the end of the gigs(Every Night!Seven nights a week!) we would have a pickin party going on. He- Haw!! I surly miss those days. Take care Bro,,, see ya soon, Ronnie

Ron Kirby's Tribute To A Lovely Daughter

Great job, Ron; both for the song and bringing you and your girl, back to-gether. Truly a lovely song, Ron; From the first time I saw you on U-Tube; you have been one of my favorite steel players; such clean and great sounding stylings on your emmons Guitar. your girl should be most proud of her DAD May the GOOD LORD bless and keep you both connected..Warm Regards, Bernie
