Mike Sweeney's new CD-Buy it

Post by Larry Behm »

Had a chance to hear Mike's new CD project and thought it was great. Lot's of creative ideas. If you want to hear a Nashville player at the top of his game get this CD. Nice job Mike.

Hey Larry,

Thanks so much for the kind words! I'm really glad you liked it. It was a fun project to do and I was excited to be able to work with one of my heroes, Lloyd Green, as well as backing up one of the all time great girl singers, Laney Hicks. They really made this CD a special one for me. Thanks again!

I got my copy in St. Louis at ISGC and it hasn't been out of the CD player since. What great playing and a good selection of tunes. BTW Mike nailed it on his set at the convention. What a great player he is and nicer guy you'll never meet. I can't wait to pick some more with the "Mikester". Best always, Bobby

Thanks Graham! Graham did the mastering on this project for me and really brought it to life. He certainly gets a gold star in my book!
