Here's a good one that I haven't seen before. This one is way back before Moon got into wearing the hat. This is the way they looked the first time I saw them in person. This version sounds great.

I love it!! Watch Mr. Moons right foot just before the end of the song. Very Happy

Moon is a master at throwing that right foot in there to get a little extra note. Jody.

Well, looks like YouTube pulled the video. I guess the poster violated rules or something. It was good while it lasted.

I dont know which video this was but I am guessing it is from the 1978 concert that is available as a bonus feature on the Waylon documentary dvd and was pulled from youtube for that reason. That concert is awesome and the camera does not shy away from Mr. Mooney who takes an amazing steel run in each and every song. It is well worth the money to own this dvd for this concert alone.

This one was taped on one of those sets like we used to see a lot on all the syndicated country music TV shows that were on TV on Saturday nights in the 60's. It could have even been a HeeHaw set. Waylon still had short hair too, and no beard. Moon wasn't wearing glasses and had no hat. He was playing what looked to be a Sho-Bud, but not the Super Pro with the flag on the front. They looked the way they were when I saw them at the old George Jones Country Music Park outside of Lakeland back about 1971-72 or thereabouts. I wonder if it was something Gaylord owned, I think they object when their stuff makes it to YouTube (and I guess they most likely they have a right to do so).

I wish I would have saw this but isn't this the version in which jeff newman made the woodshop workshop "good hearted woman" course. I know mooney inspired him on the course.
