Thank you Scotty for organising this great Convention each year - for SO long now; for having the foresight to recognise that there was a need to start it in the first place and for having the stamina to keep it going all this time! Also, thanks for allowing Bill to post these great videos, so that everyone can see what is possible on our beloved instrument!

Thank you, Bill, for all your time and hard work.

Thanks, Scotty (and crew)!
I always enjoyed taking my lunch hour at your shop when we lived in St. Louis.

My biggest "Thank You" goes to Scotty -- but a lot of others deserve to share the "thanks" such as Bill Ferguson, Bobby Caldwell, Mary Scott, Michael Scott, the house band members, and many others on Scotty's team. Most of us would never have met each other if not for Scotty's efforts.

Thank you Bill for all your efforts and putting them on Youtube. I am sure there are many who enjoy them that do not tell you.

Scotty is the best promoter of Steel. His Anthology course was very important when I was first learning steel. I found the 1978 ISGC LP and that really inspired me. That is the one that has two songs by Buddy, Doug, Lloyd and Maurice.

Scotty's top star courses are outstanding as well.

I was one of those members of SGI and still have some of those newsletters around here somewhere.

Thank you for "opening up the vault" of videos. I was afraid we would never get to see those. Some of us have only been to St. Louis a couple of times, so we get a chance to re-live those great moments with you.

In the past, I know I have made light of the Steel Guitar Hall of Fame, but in spite of the politics, I think it is a great thing you have attempted to do.

To the world's Foremost Steel Promoter: You're the Best! :D
