This is a short clip that a friend captured on a digital camera last weekend.

It's short but it's proof that I can play steel after all LOL!

The Band I'm playing with in this clip is "Phil Calhoun" and "The Trashy White Band". I sat in with these guys one night out of the blue and it turned into a nice little Friday night house gig. Four 50 minute sets, Nice crowds, Good old COUNTRY music with a taste of Texas Blues and Classic Southern Rock by the end of the night. The thing that really gets me is the amount of young people (21 to 25) that love the older country music. I'm really delighted to see it. I seem to be the Only Steel Player that these kids have ever seen. I get tons of questions from guys and gals alike. I wish there more working players around here. I'd like to see some steel playing myself. LOL

Awesome job, Jim! Hope I can get down that way sometime and catch the band.

Great tone to boot. Sounds like you have got it dialed in great.

Hi Pete,

I agree the tone of this guitar is very good. The name on the guitar isn't too clear, but it appears to be a RAINS psg.
