Thank you Del mullens, and my friend ,Mike at mullens.Great folks who know how to build a steel guitar. mickey adams, said it right when he told me it was an awsome guitar. i love the tone. that is what i was looking for. my band members, were impressed.so were some of the folks in the crowd , where we usally play. My wife is not happy because ,im not cutting the grass, working around the house.doing my honey -do list.instead im playing my new G2. if your looking for a great guitar, you might want to check out,a very fine steel guitar.Doug Seymore told me , it was very well made.and Doug ,knows steel guitars.Thank You again,Del,and Mike.for a job well done. Maybe Dell needs to change his name to Mullins or Mullens. It seems a lot of people think there's an "S" like Emmons. How about Derbys, Zumsteels, Fenders, Sierras, ZBs, JCHs, MSAs, Carters, etc. Okay, so we're used to the name, Moon Mullins and it may be only natural and if we're talking about Del and Dixie both, it could be we're talking about the Mullens. A point to ponder, indeed.

I love my Mullens....been playin' one since the mid 90's. When I played a Sierras I loved it too...same for my Derbys, Emmons and MSAs...also my Sho-Buds. I don't know why some folks want to add the "s" but I don't believe anyone means any disrespect. I think it's because Mullins is a very common surname, it's very close phonetically and it's ingrained in nearly everyone's brain.

Out of respect for Dixie and Del, I tend to correct folks when they mispronounce the name, but I'm bettin' they're used to it and it doesn't bother them long as folks keep buying their guitars Exclamation

Mostly, I think people need to lighten up on spelling and pronunciation of common steel nomenclature and give folks the benefit of the doubt since most of the time we all know what they mean Smile

Del just finished his show here at the ISGA, and the playing and the tone was great. Del sure has a winner with the G2.

I got robbed. Somebody stole the "S" on my wonderful guitar that Del built for me a few years back. Look for him on America's Most Wanted When they read the contraband, all thos esses will sound like a leaky tire.
