Rob, I think the situation can be different between banjo types in principle. I started with a Fender Banjo + shadows SH930 bridge PU + DI and the PA. I had problem about the volume and background undesidered noise. SO that I insert in the line also a Volume pedal to adjust signal when required. SHR...

I'm playin in a Italian Bluegrass band since 30 years, All Acustic instruments, all singers, so that we use 10 MIC on the stage. As you can image very difficult NOT to have larsen or interference between MIC's and Speakers. Main problems are related to Monitors, that are closer to MIC's so that we a...

Ciao Olli. Thanks for yr suggestion, However the PSG case still needs space on the stage. I'm trying to reduce space using the PGS case as a seat if possible. Maybe I can ask to the suggested supplier to make a new case for my Willy to use also as a seat? Maybe it will cost a lot. I'll investigate al...

Space problem on the stage? Use the guitar case as a seat !
It's a fact, the stage space is all the time smaller! Yes, the Pub's owners prefear to dedicate more space for customers than for musicians. I'm playing in a bluegrass band, we are 5 and many times the stage surface is less than 10 square meters. This is a big problem. We have in avg 10 instrument c...
