I've been using the on-line calculator to get prices. I just wonder if I pack it up and take it down to Postal Annex for a quote if it will come out better. The on-line USPS calculator was identical to Fed-Ex. UPS was higher. I think Robert got so discouraged about it he run off before we could figu...

Back on Market

Back on the market:

Robert apparently can't afford the shipping. It does seem high for his location. It fits into an 18 x 18 x 26 inch box and weighs 34lbs all up.

I'm in 89436 zip

See what it'll cost and let me know.

MSA Single 10 on a double 10 cabinet

I have here a 1981 model MSA in pretty good shape. It's a three pedal and five lever movement designed by Bud Carter. Three pedals and five levers.I purchased it from a seller here on the forum several years ago for $1350. It will come with a pile of training materials and backing tracks, some new s...

SteelSeat Slimline with SideKick

I have a pedal steel seat as described in the title. I doubt it's been sat on more than about an hour. It has the sidekick. I just didn't take to the instrument. I bought it to match more or less the MSA Classic Supersustain that I will list in a minute on this forum. It has been on a shelf covered ...

Phil Keaggy never has found the lack of a full set all that difficult either. Funny though, I'm of that Grateful Dead generation and didn't know or didn't remember that Jerry was missing a finger. Just never paid attention I guess. In fact I suppose you might say I was generally somewhat drifty back...

That was the name Mark. I'm just so new to this game I was too stupid to recognize the name. Thanks for the heads up. My wife especially liked; "It's Hard to Kiss the Lips at Night, that Chewed Your Butt Out All Day Long" I'm unsure if she was thinking about her own tendencies or mine!! Dan

Gone missing for awhile. Saw Vince Gill.

Hello All: I had a terrific "all gone forever" crash boom bah! on the old computer. Couldn't log in for awhile. Bought a Harley. Lost interest. Lost my dog. Missed the place. Saw Vince Gill last month with the missus. I think he's about 3/4 country all the time and about 1/4 country Jazz t...

I'm 62. My client and I are crawling out from under a RR car that he wants to modify. After grunting and groaning, I stand up and say, 'have I ever told you how much I hate middle age'. He says, "middle age? What, do you think you're going to be 130, this ain't the middle." Oh man, I got ...

Have you played with Duncan's "Tone Stack" software? If you want to know why your amp does not sound "flat" check it out: http://www.duncanamps.com/tsc/ Great question, too, Rich, certainly most great sounding guitar amps don't actually sound all that "great" as MUSIC ...

Altec Drivers for 811A Horns?

I've been slowly acquiring a Voice of the Theatre set of components for the Garage if I can't sneak them into the house. I've got a pair of 416 woofers ready to recone ($117 each at Great Plains!) I just bought a pair of horns today of E-Flea for $117 + $80 shipping (the rat, if I'd noticed I wouldn...

I know all about lumbar disk hernias. I had a 4/5 lower left lumbar laminotomy (snip not fusion) in '99. I get it I guess. My MSA Classic SD10 case weighs more than the dang guitar. So I'm looking for something. I just don't like making two trips. The cases could be easily strapped together I'm gues...

Use a HIWATT D-103 tone stack, with Dynaco transformers from Triode Electronics. Then as mentioned use a speaker that gets more highs. Make a head out of it so you can run electric with one speaker cabinet and acoustic with another. I think Peavey might even make a PA type speaker with a horn tweete...

Dnt Undrstnd. So two trips with two cases is better than one with wheels? Do the combined two cases weigh 20 lbs less than a single case with room for legs and pedals?
