By the way, I use a Peavey Session 500 with my MSA.

Joe,
I enjoyed your story. It's a lot like mine. Four years ago I bought a Carter Starter as well and tried to learn some on it. It's been difficult to get it all figured out. However, last year I bought an MSA Classic, D-10 that looks just exactly like yours. It is white as well. I checked with Reese an...

PSG players in Central Illinois
Richard, I am a pedal steel learner from Decatur but I do know a couple of names in our area. Besides Lyle Clary in Decaturour, Jim Waddington is in Latham, illinois and Gary Sill is actually in the Mt, Zion, Illinois area.

Tabs, anyone
Frank,
This looks great. Could you please send all of them to me (Both E9th and C6th)? Hopefully you will be helping this new steel player along toward being a much better player and help the Pedal Steel Guitar continue on for other generations to enjoy.
Thanks a lot,
Scott Major

I do still have the questions about the back side of the guitar however. When I printed it off it showed two half page...

MSA information
Thank you very much Reece. I noticed that the back side of my guitar looks like it should have a cover and places for a possible volume control and some types of switches. Is there a chance of verifying that? I went to the Carter Website and downloaded the MSA manual. The problem I found there was t...

Reece,
I have a white MSA, D-10 Classic with 8 pedals. The serial number is 2c180. Can you please tell me when it was built and any other information that you might have on it?
Thanks a lot,
Scott
