Thanks Mike, Those are some beautiful amps you're making. The detail and layout are amazing. I'm thinking I saw a one of your amps with a Wheelhouse speaker. I was curious if Lary's had installed one in his amp. Judging by the graph the Wheelhouse doesn't seem to have quite as much mid dip as some o...

Thanks Chris, We hardly ever see Wrap Around's in my neck of the woods, I think Bobby Boggs has one and that's about it. Between me and my Dad, about 100 Emmons guitars have passed through our hands only one was a Wrap, it had been been converted poorly to a Left Hand version. This was all pre inter...

Wow Keith! That's my old guitar. My Dad and I picked it up at the Emmons factory and spent the day up there. Brian Adams build it. I think it was 1984, it cost $2600.00 new. That guitar has a ton of hours on, and is a great player. It may not be the cleanest looking, but someone is going to get a fa...

I bought this new in 1975, the cost $40.00. I recovered the top in leather many years ago, but that's the original strap.

Thank you for the compliment Josh, I'm totally fine with any kind of lesson you did with it.
I checked the CD notes and to their credit they gave me credit on there.

I didn't really pay much attention to the intro, as Mike pointed out its played on E9. Buddy then switches necks to play the solo part on C6.

Hi Tim,

That's a pedal steel tuned to C6. In the solo the player uses a standard pedal that raises the hi C and A strings a whole step.

Same band, one pic at sound check without suits and one with suits from same angle. I play in several bands and this one isn't the best as far as players go, but this group consistently makes at least double the money of the other groups. The look of the band matters a great deal on the business sid...

The dual pro's volume and tone control are in a more ideal location and tone is hard to beat. The the wider string spacing helps a little with slants on the lower frets. I personally like the smaller size, and the 4 legs of the Stringmaster, I can play a double neck on my lap with any problems and t...

Thanks for the tip Steve, nice stuff!. I knew about the A7th chord on the 12th fret but I had never used the string pull on the 14th fret.
I've played that position for years (palm to forehead) and never occurred to me to raise that string.
