You could do it that way, and tune it back up to E whilst activating both the LKR and pedal 5. If you were to activate pedal 5 on its own, you will probably (but maybe not) get an out of tune note somewhere around F#, so obviously you would only use pedal 5 when the LKR is activated Sweet - thanks ...

Same. 0.011 sounds way better, but I break fewer with .010. Thicker than .011 I can't get any life out of them at all. <snap>!

I'm thinking that must have been a too many windows open error.

Re: Adding knee levers to Fender; Husband says No

I'd add the functions myself. Pedal steel is all about getting it to have the functions you want to make the music you want, and it is still evolving. Those Fenders sound great, and maybe your way of playing one with added levers will be what changes them from a $2000 guitar to $5000, where everyone...

Tuneable splits on 1970s nylon tuner Sho Bud

Hi all, I hope this is not too dumb of a question. I'm working on applying some U10 logic to a 70s sho bud. This one has the 2 over 2 fingers, except on the E strings, which have 3 over 2 fingers. Of course it is the 4th string giving me trouble. When I'm in B6 mode, I'm going to need to raise the 4...

This page will help you a lot: https://b0b.com/wp/copedents/c6th/ I personally would use the Emmons copedent (scroll down on that page), pedals 5-8, without the low F and C strings. Pedal 5-6 are your bread and butter in C6, and will do 99% of what you need. The 7 pedal can be useful for some flashy...

Just to add to the collective knowledge, my Sho Bud is serial # 12530. I guess it must be a Pro I from 1977 - 3+4 and nylon tuners and pot metal fingers. Oddly, the changer is 2 raise 2 lower, except the E strings, which are 3 raise 2 lower. I'm not sure if that is a later modification or a transiti...

That might be the coolest thing I've ever heard on steel.

When does the album come out? :-)

Jimmy Day in 1994

Hey folks, I'm the new guy on the forum. I play about everything BUT PSG, so I guess it's time, eh? OK, my first question for the masters: In this incredible recording of Jimmy Day at the PSG conference in 1994... http://julianwinston.com/music/mp3/jimmy_e9.mp3 ...does anyone know what guitar he si ...
