Russ I think that album with the Case brothers your referring to might be the Sextet Sessions album. It was Tom, Maurice and the Case brothers. 2 songs on each side of the album. My favorite Bags Groove! :D

That's great stuff Zane. Sure do hear the seeds of ol' Zane Beck. He always talked so highly of you and your ability to me and my dad(Jack). He was very proud of you. Keep it up my friend.

I would love for you to find out the serial number on that guitar of your friends Mr. Jack. I think I remember my dad speaking very fondly of you somewhere down through the years, heck I probably met you myself somewhere. I'm just a nutty bass player! Hope all is well with you. Please check that # w...

Not to contradict Jack Stoner, but I probably have the very last ZB to be built in Scranton, Ark. with the old logo. When Zane sold his company he told me and my dad (Jack Matthews)a longtime friend of Zanes, that he had in his shop enough parts to build 3 guitars. I know he nurtured the new buyer f...

Yes Brother Louie, I would play with dad every opportunity I had. And did all my life. He taught me more about music than any book or teacher I ever had. I can remember most of you that have posted here, and remember dad introducing me to some of ya'll over the past 35+ years. His dearest friends we...

Three years ago today I lost my hero, best friend, and father. He sure loved the steel guitar and everyone that had anything to do with one. Miss him dearly. See you soon Pop! Rob

Sorry Dave I don't have any pics, but I think there might have been a brochure , schedule or something that was passed out when you paid for your admission. I'll look thru some of my pops stuff, cause he kept everything like that through the years. I don't guess I realized that you were the one putt...

Thank you all for remembering this sweet fella. My Dad. He never met a stranger, and loved everyone of you in the steel guitar community. It was his life. Wish I was more like him and had half his talent. I surely enjoyed the times you shared the bandstand with him Mr. Parker. He loved those ballads...

You have my sympathies Mr. Andy. I met her one time I believe at one of the casinos I was playing. If she was anything like you, I know she was a fine, fine person. I know you'll miss her but trust & lean on our wonderful God. Love ya Mr. Andy
