Knee levers fixed to the guitar, but not to the push/pull.

I bought my pedal steel second-hand from a guy who had built it from a kit a few decades back. I believe it is a MarketRite Mark II. It has three pedals and four knee levers. Only one knee lever is currently functioning, one is attached to rods but doesn't pull to a useable pitch (while moving in on...

I have used a 4x10 Blues Deville for Pedal Steel, and own a 4x10 HR Deville. In my experience the Blues Deville was noticeably warmer, but I don't have any real complaints about the HR. I play mostly small to medium-sized clubs in a moderately loud band and this is more than enough amp, I rarely hav...

Deville

I just got this one. It's. . . unique. I was planning to put the whole thing in a new cabinet, but once I got it home I found that I liked it for some crazy reason.

Vox AC30

Has anyone ever tried running a PSG through an Vox AC30? If so, how did it measure up?

...what kind of guitar are you playing? My PSG is a an old MarketRite Mark II, single-coil pickup. The highs are very bitey. I would be hoping to temper that some. I play in a moderately loud folk-rock band, thats why I am hoping more for a haunting tone, for a more ambient use of the PSG rather th...

Fender Twin Reverb: 2-12's or Custom 15

I know I ask alot of amp questions, but I've narrowed it down, and will stop soon. Thanks for bearing with me, all. So I know I want a Fender Twin Reverb, but am weighing the original model w/ two 12in speakers vs. the custom 15. I realize this is more a matter of tone preference, so let me say that...

Peavey Delta Blues?

Does anyone know anything about these? A friend recommended one. Follow up: What is the minimum wattage needed for enough clean headroom for PSG?

Yeah, a Twin is way too loud for most guitar gigs these days (when you can mike a small amp). But a Princeton, and probably a Deluxe, will likely not have enough clean headroom for pedal steel (although they might be fine for studio work). That's the dilemma. Other than using two amps, one solution...

How does anyone feel about putting a PSG through a fender deluxe reverb or a princeton? I think I am leaning toward the Deluxe Reverb because of the two separate channels. I am concerned that a Twin would be too much amp for me to get that overdriven tube sound on my six-string.

Where can I find Jon Graboff or Eric Heywood Copedents

Hello all,

I'm new to the forum and to the pedal steel. I saw the copedent resources linked here, but does anyone know, or know where I might be able to find (or figure out) Jon Graboff (The Cardinals) or Eric Heywood copedents? Thanks in advance.
