Peavey Delta Blues?

Does anyone know anything about these? A friend recommended one. Follow up: What is the minimum wattage needed for enough clean headroom for PSG?

Adam,If you're looking for a clean steel guitar sound I don't think this is the amp.I've played guitar out one these at a blues gig and it's breaks up great for a blues thing I just don't think it would the right amp for a cleaner sound ,It also depends on how loud you're gonna be playing...However it's a great sounding amp.

Clean headroom? What's that? If the amp grinds, it's good enough for me. I played my Sho-Bud through a Peavey Delta Blues and I found that it had a pretty good distortion.

Loud enough for club gigs?

I have one, and it's pretty good for playing blues-rock pedal steel in small venues. But it just does not have enough clean headroom for country, or country-rock, or even for slow R&B numbers where you want a lot of clean sustain. Even if it is miked, it has trouble with loud stage volume. Also, it is a very bright sounding amp for PSG. It is a 30 watt guitar amp, and only works for PSG in very small, quiet settings.

Thirty watts is not quite enough power for club gigs. I suggest the Nashville 112(80 watts) or the Nashville 1000 or N'Ville 400, which should be plentiful.
