Staggered levers are great and take some time to get used to. Once you do they become second nature to just move your butt forward or backward to engage the lever!

That's a great harp case there, Bill! I've dabbled in Chicago blues harp for as long as I can remember, and love Little Walter and Junior Wells. I play marine bands and special 20s. I sometimes play pedal steel and harp at the same time, say on some Neil Young or Bob Dylan numbers, but prefer playin...

Thanks, Richard. I forgot that the Milkman is an amp rather than a preamp. That means that a powered speaker as a monitor should be fine then as it will cover the mando preamp and won't degrade the sound of the Milkman amp

Preamp - powered or unpowered speakers?

Hello forumites, I've recently taken the plunge and moved from a combo amp to a Milkman 'the Amp 100' and plugging in to my duo partner's PA (I play in beer gardens and wineries that need you to project over the closest tables to be heard by those at the back). I play mando as well and have got myse...

Re: Pro I cabinet refinish

Gotta say, sunburst finishes definitely require some artistic talent, which I have very little to none ... I think what you've done looks better than most sunbursts I've seen. The fact that it comes in a little bit unevenly makes it look more rustic, to my eyes anyway. I vote for the black fr...

Do you know anything about how your dad came to be on that music video, Michael? I'd love to hear the story about how it came to be made! Here's some past discussion: https://bb.steelguitarforum.com/viewtopic.php?p=823306&sid=2b8c09fbf3bf18bc88b57f54900b9589 https://bb.steelguitarforum.com/viewt...

I could be wrong(I often am)but, I think that was 2002, the first year that I attended the ISGC. Also, I'm reasonably sure he shared his set with Hal Rugg. Tommy, the photos are labelled 2003 and 2002 respectively. The second one is definitely 2002 because you can see it in the background. Not sure...

Yes, I wondered that, Fred

But then again, Buddy was in Nashville during his early life at a time when it was well and truly Cards Country (i.e. pre-Atlanta Braves), so wasn't sure

Was The Big E a Cards fan?

With excitement building for the postseason of what has been a very weird truncated baseball season I was wondering whether anybody knows whether Buddy was an actual Cards fan - when he wasn't the ace on the mound for the Sounds, that is! :D :D :D https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1mGUk7CGraM https://...
