Crafters of Tennessee Squareneck Dobro (Europe)

I’m selling my Crafters of Tennessee “Tennessee original model” by respected builder Mark Taylor (son of Tut’s) of Old Hickory, Tennessee. Condition is very good, this dobro got the old style soundwell construction, and the sound can be described as high lonesome all the way, loud and open!....

That looks pretty complete, enough to keep you busy for the rest of your life, no need for a 2nd neck!!! I see changes that look already familiar, the reverse P3 I was thinking of puttin on the P1 position myself, and the added D on str.10 is a great idea. Could you explain the P6 and the "RKV&...

Being a fan of Murnel Babineaux' wonderful cajun picking, i noticed he was using one on several tunes in his "Steel Guitar Unconvention" set. (starts at about 3.33.26) : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W4uZ_B7r93k

Can't help you with info on Al Murray, but I remember Curtis telling me, about having worked with a young Lloyd Green and a very young Doug Jernigan amongst a whole bunch of other steelers, when I played (Pedal)steel with him, while backin him up with the Ragtime Wranglers, at the U.K.Hemsby festiva...

Coy Pereira w.Kilima hawaiians recordings

As a little follow up to my buddy Erik van Beek's Rudy Wairata/Mena Moeria Minstrels post from a couple of weeks back, I decided to digitize and upload some old radio recordings by Dutch-indonesian player Coy Pereira with The kilima hawaiians. So, if you're not afraid of a little cassette tape hiss ...

Here's a few pictures, of a stand that the builder of my Frying Pan made from a heavy cymbal stand. As you can see he handily rearranged the different parts, and added a few. Very sturdy, won't collapse easily.... http://bb.steelguitarforum.com/userpix1029/7975_Stand_met_1.jpg http://bb.steelguitarf...
