Fishman Nashville Pickup questions

I have read all the previous post on this subject and I am still a bit hesitant on this system and have a couple of questions for those who have installed the system and / or pickup. I am considering this for my 73 OMI/D-60 that is my one and only. Did you find the acoustic change to your instrument...

1937 Rickenbacher Model 59 for sale

A very good example of this model in the off white color. Pickup and electronics are fully functional. I have used this steel on many occasions. The pickup is powerful and has that great Ric tone. Tuners are good, two with bent shafts. Single volume control provides a surprising number of tonal vari...

I have a 69 SF Princeton and a 68 BF Princeton Reverb. Very different amps. The non reverb amp is the sweetest clean I have ever heard. I have used it out with guitar and even cranked wide open, you get just a hint of distortion. That amp really lets you hear you guitars real sound IMHO. I have used...

Get a 57. When you find out what you don't like about the sound, you will be ready to look at other mikes and still have a trusty 57. I started there and now I have about 15 mikes. I still use my 57's all the time for lots of things. I own 3 of them.

I have Don Marre's pickups in my main Tele. Sweet. Just call him. He will figure it out. That being said, The next best thing in my mind is a set of Custom Shop Nocasters. Very versatile.

Yet another chord question Major and minor 7ths and....

I am trouble building these chords. A chart I am playing has D Fmaj 7th written, but I am finding the notes the same as a D maj 7th on my 6 string. the other is F minor 7th, but I am interested how to find these for all notes, mainly in the lower strings so I can get a full sound for the piece I am ...

I am doing something similar with my Nashville 112. I plug my amp emulator (stereo output) into the Cd jack and the preamp and that both work without half-plugging the power amp. That way I have all the preamp, tone and reverb for the steel, and the amp emulator does the six string stuff. I can get ...

Ok, I'll play along. This is interesting. I have to ask, why have strings at all? Why not velocity / touch sensors like a keyboard and some type of sensor to determine where the bar is and then generate the tones? They could then be controlled for bend by the pedals based on the amount of movement w...

Had an H4 for about 6 months here and I love it. I have used it to do quick recordings of my daughters new songs for rehearsals and for recording rehearsals of my cover group also. The extra inputs have made it very handy for recording off a board when I have done that also. I find you have to set t...

I have tried this with both PSG and Keys and many mike types and it's just too noisy for me in the PA. Unless there is a mike out there I have not tried with excellent mechanical noise rejection, I think you will be disappointed.

Formica PSG's just look cheap to me. They remind me of those Carbon Fiber Martins. Perhaps they don't sound as bad, but why bother? to me a guitar (any guitar)should be wood. Wood is/was a living thing. Sure, my Sho-Bud has nicks, cracks and two major dings where the PA fell on it one night (The dru...

Bought my Sho-Bud Pro S-10 around around 73, I think. I remember it cost me 600 bucks. At the time, I was making perhaps 100 a week at my job and it seemed a fortune, but it sounded and played so much better than the Maverick I owned at the time, I HAD to own it. I remember the shop had blue green, ...

I tried In Ears for a while also. It appears to me that Richard is taking a picture of the Case, not the guitar. I see the leg bag and the pedal cross bar in the pictures. the leg bar is not attached to anything. NV 112 Volume Pedal patch.

I am purchasing an NV112 based on all the positive remarks here and noticed the volume pedal patch on the amp. Does anyone here use the patch and does it have any benefit for the volume pedal? Seems like a lot of cable run to me. Does anyone use it for something other than the volume pedal? Thanks R...
