After many, many hours of sanding, polishing, tlc etc. I have finished the refurb of my '73 LDG. When I bought this LDG about a year ago it needed a lot of work and I was so happy when one of the forum members gave me the email address of James Morehead. To make a long story short, James supplied al...

In spite of the powerful tornadoes quite close to where James and Teresa live, my new LKV arrived within a couple of days after my email to James.
Like the other new Shodud parts I got from James, the LKV is a piece of art.
Thanks James! :D

Gerard, you gotta learn to play that lloyd upside down, Ha Ha!
Hey Danny, since I am completely new at the psg you wouldn't hear the difference when I play the LDG upside down or the right way...

Here's some more progress pics. Now getting ready to install the last bunch of parts and start to make everything work the way it should. That may actually take me even longer than refurbing my LDG... :) http://bb.steelguitarforum.com/userpix0912/6931_90_1.jpg http://bb.steelguitarforum.com/userpix0...

This week I installed some more new parts on my LDG and I'm impressed with the quality. It's great to be able to swap corroded old parts with the parts that James sent me. No mods or changes needed. A perfect fit. One 'problem' I foresee is that I am so happy with the looks of the (almost completed)...

My experience with James is great. His Shobud parts are the best replacements I've seen and his improvements make some parts work better than ever. James has been a great help refurbing my '73 LDG. I live in the Netherlands and email works great for me. Since James has posted that he is making and s...

Here are 2 pictures showing the progress on refurbing my '73 LDG. When I bought the LDG it was in bad shape and James offered to help me refurb it. I am completely new to the pedal steel. After a while I came to the conclusion that some parts were just too bad to make 'em nice and shiny. Luckily Jam...

Are you keeping the sales limited to the forum? ;-)

I think James is doing a great job in enabling us to refurb and or upgrade our Shobuds. Last week I ordered a lot of parts from James for my '73 LDG. In '77 Shobud 'upgraded' it to better parts  and I'd like to go back to real good parts like the ones James is making. Also, James is very suppor...

WTB : Sho-Bud LDG (or Pro 1)

I am looking for a Sho-Bud LDG, preferably in Europe.
Shipping to Europe and customs have made it quite expensive to import from the US.
Please email info and pics.
If I can't find a nice LDG I may end up looking for a Pro 1.

Thanks,

Gerard Kema
