It looks like some of the down-line bell cranks might be forcing the B pedal rods and the B pedal shaft away from the pedal stop.

Seems like I’ve been here before. Not quite a double raise but it does make adjustments easier. Using a nylon nut type rod….for the C pedal use a standard 1/8” stop collar or a ShoBud barrel reversed. The A pedal uses a standard ShoBud brass barrel but with a knurled Tele knob installed at the end o...

To use a larger string would mean the outer string wrap would have to terminate exactly between the roller nut and the 10th string tuning key. That would be doable for bulk...

It does resemble this Guyatone HG-56. I was not able to plug-in but that booth did have a few other odd-ball instruments.... mostly acoustic.

It looks like that extra cross shaft is used to move the 1st pedal/4th string pull-crank forward a bit so there's no interference with the F lever. The crank on 1st pedal/string four should be perfectly aligned with the F lever/string four so there is no binding at the end of the pedal stroke. I've ...

Paul Bigsby inlaid card suits into the neck of several of Merle Travis’ 6-string guitars. Probably where Shot got the idea for his fret markers. Merle’s markers are positioned correctly and ordered heart, club, diamond, and spade. ShoBud’s are flipped and ordered heart, spade, diamond, and club. Not...

Jon, does that nylon stop have some kind of square backer? If it's not seated firmly to the apron, I can see how it might loosen over time. https://bb.steelguitarforum.com/userpix2203/6797_753_lever_stop_11_1.jpg Why not take a dead on image of the screw head to see if it actually rotates over time.
