1980 Emmons D-10 PP - Rosewood Mica
1980 Emmons D-10 Push Pull Rosewood Mica. Serial number 2858D. 8 & 4, Day setup. George L's pickups. The E9 neck has been setup and plays beautifully. I haven't learned the C6 neck, so it needs to be gone over. Comes with a very nice CushCase and leg bag. This is a great guitar and I hate to sel...

This guitar weighs about 38 pounds in the case. This is a sweet little instrument - I don't need two steels at this point.
Thanks, Patrick

Follow Up
Thanks for identifying and for the suggestions on the setup. I spent a couple of hours on the mechanics this afternoon and the guitar is playing pretty well. Someone had the changers really off kilter. I am not sure about that 4th pedal, but I think I will leave it that way for now. Regards, Patrick

Emmons S-8 PP ? What did I buy?
I just picked up an Emmons S-8 PP - I think student model. It has 4 pedals and 1 knee lever. The end plates, rear legs, pedals, changer and the undercarriage look standard PP to my untrained eye. The "roller" nut is pretty funky. The guitar sounds great, although I don't think the strings ...

Star Spangled Banner
I was goofing around on YouTube earlier and watched a very nice version of the Star Spangled Banner by Tony Prior. Anyone have tab for that version or any other?
Thanks, Patrick

OK - that looks familiar. I am used to "jewelling" being the swirl pattern that people use on guns etc. Learn something new every day.
Thanks!

Jewelling...
Hey Benton looks great! I have a late 70s D10 pp that I am loving. When you say you redid the jewelling - where? The necks on mine are polished except between the pickup and the fingerboards - that area looks like the casting was semi-polished - but I would not describe it as jewelled. Thanks and ag...

Thanks for the welcome
I appreciate the warm welcome - even from the Colorado contingent who just loves the Texans In fairness, I took a "wrong" turn a number of years ago and now live in NJ.....go figure.

New to Board
Greetings: I am new to the forum and new to PSG's. I am a long time guitar and banjo player. I have also dabbled with the lap steel and dobro. As a native Texan, I grew up listening to some great pedal steelers, but never had the opportunity to play one. A musician buddy started on me about learning...
