1985 Emmons Legrande D10 SKH 8+5. This Emmons was sent to Billy Knowles in may of 2019 and was completely disassembled and everything was replaced or repaired as needed. Whoever buys it...I would send it to Billy Knowles and leave it in his hands, He would have that just like new in no time...it's a beautiful steel and I think Billy would the best man for that job...just my honest opinion...

I agree with you 110%...I have only dealt with Billy Knowles but I don't see how it could look, play or sound any better...If I had to do it all over again I would hope that it would be Billy Knowles that was working on my steel.

the machinist that made the fingers said that I need 1/2" x 0.625" ...he said case hardened steel...most anyone that knows about steels would know more than I do...but if they would work I'd buy some from you, thanks, I really appreciate your help.

I think the pin is solid.

I broke the pin in a changer finger and I'm not to confident about taking it apart to fix myself.

Can anyone tell me if anyone ever made a DVD on working on or repairing an all pull pedal steel, preferably an Emmons, I'm way up in northern N.Y. where I don't know of a lot of steel players and no repair men that I know of anyways...gonna have to do it myself I guess and just thought that if there...

Hi, I'm looking for a changer finger for an Emmons Legrande SKH on the C6th neck. Someone told me that the E9th and the C6th fingers are different so I guess it has to be the one for the C6th neck and also for the SKH. I believe this is a 1985...If you have one please let me know...Thanks

Wondering if anyone might know someone way up north in NY state that works on Emmons steels...I changed the strings on my Emmons and when I was tuning the C6th neck back up the pin on the 9th changer finger broke off and I am pretty sure I won't be able to fix this myself...anyone got any ideas, als...
