OMG...This is a shock. Jan and I worked together in the early 1970's in Port Huron Michigan. It was my first gig playing steel guitar. I haven't seen Jan nor Kathy in several years, but I have lots of fond memories of them. Kathy heart felt sympathy and prayers for you and family. Rest Peacefully Jan.

I am thinking about changing the pick-ups on my Marlen D-10...For sure the C6 Pickup...its about shot. Checked all the wiring resoldered everything and it still is not good. Real Question is what ideas do you have for brand and model of pickup. Currently my pickups are original and single coil...als...

Richard, I have a mica Marlen D-10, all pull,8 x 7. I bought it from Leonard Stadler in 1982 (new). It stays in tune, pickups are awesome, and I have had no problems with it whatsoever. No slipping on the rods, etc. I play every weekend with it. It pedals good Knee pedals are smooth. Can't think of ...

I have a talking unit for the steelguitar, made by the great "Whitey Cutcher". Whitey made it for me in the early 70's..I believe he only made 2 of them..One of our forum members has the other..R.I.P. Whitey.
