Thanks guys for the encouragement and kind words. It would be great if I could do one of these in a few years that these guys actually played the instruments and sang, but that will be up to them. This is a great hobby for me and a lot of fun. I love the steel and classic country sounds ! Thanks aga...

I'll go along with Larry's take on this. There is a lot of patterns and licks that I practice with my eyes closed. I'ts great for your playing and confidence. This came from Paul Franklin one night I was talking to him at the station Inn. What a great tip. Besides when you watch clips of Buddy,Paul ...

Hi Wayne, You can put it in the position to the left of pedal A for the Emmons setup as long as you can easily access the lever that lowers your E's. For me that is the Right knee moving left. Many guitars have the lever lowering the E's on the Left knee moving right. I have never had my E's lowered...

Hi Bob, I'm not Tony, but I believe it's important to have that pedal in a spot that's easy to use your E lowers along with it. I personally have it on the 4th pedal. Paul Franklin has it on the 4th pedal. Many have it as their first pedal next to the A pedal. I'm speaking of an Emmons setup here no...

Hey Zach, To answer your question on the speed up I can say that the lesson has several practice tracks that go through the chord changes each track goes a little faster until it's up to speed. When you listen to Paul play it up to speed you swear you will never be able to get there. I did eventuall...

Hi Bill, With us playing an instrument without frets Bar placement is a problem and always will be a problem. A great deal of my practice time is spent moving through many fret positions as in these lessons to try to get the placements right. It's tough, but the benefits of expanding your freedom on...
