Sho~Bud Pro II (early to mid 70s)
I have an early to mid 70s Sho~Bud Pro II with the round front. I bought this guitar from Chuck McGill a few years back. This is the one with the rack/barrels. I've heard a lot that this mechanism is very desirable. It is 8 X 2 and has a walnut red/brown lacquer-look to it. All original I believe. I...

I need a reliable steel guitar to tour with (3 x 4)
As much as I love my Sho Bud Pro II, it is quite heavy and requires too much maintenance. I've been invited to go on a tour with a band that I have been playing with a little and being my first one I need something more reliable and much lighter. Not seeing anything on the forum that really gets me ...

I bought Roger's other JV Esquire. These guitars are great. Plays very good, in fact, makes me wish I hadn't spent so much money on my American Vintage Telecaster. It's my first Esquire and I was surprised how versatile to tone is. If no one buys this great guitar, I probably will buy it when I get ...

1970 MSA D10 For Sale (Pictures Added)
I've got an old MSA D10 from 1970 that I'm looking to sell. It has 8 pedals and 2 knees, rosewood mica in color. This guitar has a pre-Micro serial number, so it does not have the Micro parts in the guitar. It does not use bell cranks like the more modern MSA guitars, but instead uses some sort of '...

I HAVE AND OLD PRE-MICRO MSA THAT USES THESE SHAFT COLLARS. IT DOES NOT HAVE BELL CRANKS BUT USES RODS AND COLLARS LIKE THESE. DOES THAT SOUND FAMILIAR TO ANYONE? DID MSA MAKE A PUSH PULL? I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT IT IS THAT I HAVE. REESE SAID IT WAS MADE IN 1970 AND ALSO DIDN'T KNOW MUCH. ANYONE WHO ...

I need a seat.
I'm tired of keyboard seats, so I'm looking for another seat. I really want an old Sho-Bud seat, or something with a similar, simple style, and black vinyl coverings. Condition is not an issue, if fact a little character is preferred. I'm not looking to spend a lot on a new one. So if anyone has an ...

Thanks guys, I forwarded this information on to him. Unfortunately, he ended up cutting his hand severly while moving some gear, and spent the evening of his show in the ER. Ironically, Michael J. Fox showed up and took over. Oh wait, I'm getting this confused with Back To The Future. That last part...

Steel shops in San Francisco or nearby?
I need some quick help if someone know any steel guitar shops in San Francisco. I have a friend on tour who needs a new steel and his next stop is tomarrow in San Francisco. Anything there or nearby? Thanks.
