Chris if you get a chance, try a Jackson. They have the older style 'Bud string spacing if you ever decide to go the route of a new guitar. And Harry is winding the pickups, so you know what they sound like - incredible.

Many forums require a minimum number of posts and/or a period of time as a member before being allowed to post anything for sale. This situation here is a good example of why it's a good rule to enact. Food for thought to the moderators.

Do you think this one will need a neck reset? How much saddle is left? Is the action low and comfortable now? A few more pics would be great.

Thanks!

Volume Pedal (to Canada)

I'm looking to buy a used volume pedal, preferably a Goodrich with a fresh pot. I'd also consider a Hilton. Must be willing to ship to Canada (or even better, live in Canada). I would have to pay through PayPal if I buy from a US seller but could do e-transfer within Canada.

Thanks!

So sad to hear this. John was a great guy, and I loved running into him at the shows. Rest in peace, my friend.

Thanks, Sam! Seems like it might be a tuning tangle. I'll likely pass. The buyer only wants $300. We shall see.

Can Anyone Identify This Brand of Steel?

This guitar is for sale locally, and I don't yet have additional pics. Does anyone know what brand it is based on this pic? Thanks!

I've tried most and have not come across better than the Strymon Blue Sky. The pre-delay is great for note clarity, and the decay is very organic.

Hey Skip! Yes I know you've had the chance to try these guitars first-hand in Dallas. They are in a class of their own. Hope you're keeping well!

Nice one Chris!! Still have the other Jackson? Hey Marc, After several attempts to get the Pro IV under 50 pounds in the case for flying, I had to sacrifice it to get this one. Mike Bourque bought it from me. The Slide King is every bit the quality of the Pro IV, though, so as much as I miss it I'm...

New Jackson Slide King

Greetings! I haven't posted much in recent years, but I do check in regularly to keep up on all the steel news. Speaking of news...I have just acquired a brand new Jackson Slide King that David built for me in early July. This guitar is incredible in every way. Simply put, I have not played a modern...

Fessenden S10 3x5 (Sold!)

Here's a killer S10 Fessy in great shape. It sounds incredible with the Alumitone in there. I'm only letting it go because I have a new Jackson on the way. Guitar has the usual minor wear from a few gigs, but there is nothing out of the ordinary in that regard. I use a bracket for my VP, so there is...

D10/SD10 Pedal Steel Road Case (Sold)

Just before Christmas I had this case custom-made by a local company called http://www.jpexeffects.ca for my Jackson Pro IV SD10, but I realize it's overkill for me. I figured I'd post it here to see there's any interest. I'd include shipping at the price of $380 US (anywhere in Canada or the US). T...

The tone of Pete Drake is always what gets me. From Nashville Skyline to All Things Must Pass, the rich scooped-out beauty of his tone was purely and uniquely his own. I love it every time I hear it.

I swear by my Jackson SD10 Pro IV. These are QUALITY instruments, I've put thousands of miles on mine since I got it in 2011, and it's still perfect in every way. This is a steal of a deal. Just go buy it now before someone else does. If you want to sell it later, you'll make money. It's a no-brain...
