Thanks Bill! From what I understand every knob, switch and pick-up on the Harmony Rocket is in perfect working order. Roger, Thank you so much for the encouragement and kind words. We are very proud of the song. Our band leader, Mike Heeter penned it and I think he knocked it out of the park with th...

First Professional Video – Trigger 5 “Better on the B-Side”

This is an original Trigger 5 tune called "Better on the B-Side". The video was part of a project called Lo-Fi Cherokee. The project promotes local bands and businesses on Cherokee Street in downtown St. Louis. They shot 16 bands in 16 different spaces in one day. It was great a experience...

Nate, Nice take on the design. I’ve seen that layout with skateboarder’s names and other musicians, but haven’t seen one I would wear. I have a screen printing business and have made a few steel influenced t-shirts for myself, but never marketed them. After reading this thread I see marketing a sing...

Country for the kids.

Trigger 5, a St. Louis country band, played with an elementary school orchestra for a fundraiser last night. Our fiddle player is a violin teacher and taught his students Faded Love and a couple blues tunes for the show. We had a great turn out and raised a good amount of money for the orchestra pro...

I wanted to jump in here and give my praise to Don E. Curtis. He has not only been my steel teacher for almost 5 years but also a good friend. With the help from Don, I went straight from a GFI student model to a GFI Universal and never looked back. The transition was a lot easier than I thought. Do...

Thanks Bill. This year I used the 10mp Canon EOS xti set on ISO 1600. In past years I used a hasselblad with 3200 black and white film. I love my hasselblad but a digital SLR is so much easier. Try underexposing the image and brightening the dark areas in a photo editing program. It's much easier to...

Thanks Bob

Please don't bring the wire cutters!
I was thrilled to see the lighting on the stage. I shoot with a high iso and no flash. I like using the ambient light in a situation like that.
Find me next year and we can talk cameras.
