Nice to meet you at the Kieltrip Bent, it was a big coincidence i think, and a nice surprice! I did unfortunately not hear Vince at his concerts in Norway this time, but I'm enjoying some of the clips on Youtube, here is Look at us (from Arendal): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=00wJAcWZsLA&featu...

Hello Johan, the band sounds great. Some great vocalists.

Were you the steelplayer playing with Cash on Delivery at the countryfestival in Skjak, Norway?

I talked with their steelplayer after my gig in the barn but I didn't catch his name. I was the one playing the black Franklin there.

The same thing happens with my 3rd string after a while, usually after three gigs or so. I tune it open, but the higher I go on the frets, the sharper the string gets(together with the 4th string of course). I have a Franklin too by the way.

I have #85, 8+5, with 710 pickup on the E9 neck and 705 on the C6.
It's a great guitar, but I haven't tried that many brands, so I don't really know what I'm talking about  .
I wish I had more kneelevers on the Cneck though, I've only got two.

It was nice hearing you here in Norway, you sounded great, made my Franklin sound good. The band had a good shwung too.

Thank you again!

I'm using four pedals here, the four "to the right" on a buddysetup, plus two kneelevers on my right knee that raises and lowers the third string.

I've been thinkin about getting one of these: http://www.frenzeltubeamps.com/id27.html Looks like the F-input would be good for steel. I mailed the builder, and he said that I would get at mid-dip around 800 hz if i set the controls right.

I replaced the 705 on my E9 neck to a 710 a year ago. Wasn't a big job, but the new pickup was a little to wide, so I had to cut off a little of the mountingplate to fit it. Yeah and by the way, my guitar is nr 85(from around 1984).

Settings for T.C g-major?

Do you have some good reverb/delay settings for the Tc electronics g-major? Other effects settings are appreciated too.

My steel got lost on saturday...

I had a gig this weekend way up north here in Norway, so we had to travel by plain to get there. I live in the middle of the country (Trondheim) but here in Norway the flights are a little backwards so we (the band) had to go south (Oslo) before we went north. So anyway we had to check in our luggag...
