Sangwha dobro?

Post by Tommy Roten »

Has anyone heard of a Dobro called Sangwha? I've seen one for sale here i Norway, and I wonder if anyone of you have some experience with it?

Never heard of it before your posting. A quick search shows no company web site by that name, although I did find a picture of one on a European auction site. From what I can tell, it is the same brand as the Galveston sold in the USA. These are not high quality guitars (at least the Galveston is not). Your money would be better spent elsewhere.

Don't know if it's the same Tommy is refering to, but I found one for sale at a Norwegian auction site for NOK 3,000 which is approx $495 or €385. In comparison a GoldTone/Beard costs NOK 8,000 and a Beard E model costs NOK 31,000.
