Schematic for D10 single coil

I'm in the midst of redoing my electronics, and a friend drew this schematic based on the pencil drawing. I figured I'd post it to this thread since it's been a pretty handy reference on wiring up the Emmons.

Totally untrue.

The only time I use mine with a computer is when I record. All controls are available from the front panel.

Gk Mb200

I know, why buy one used when they're so cheap to begin with? I've been using this one on stage for about 6 months now, and it's been problem-free and works fine. I don't particularly care for it, and I know a lot of other steel players do, so here goes: MB200, played, working fine, power cable incl...

Oh yeah. The 11R *shines* as a recording interface. I did my recording via USB doing a wet and a dry channel. As a track-at-home solution, it is SUPER easy to put an mp3 track against the two recording channels and record excellent *repeatable* sounds at home or on the road. I recorded one of the tr...

I agree entirely with all that. I personally don't mind the effect that a pot pedal has on the instrument, and wanted to keep that. That Tech21 product is a good tip! I am totally dissatisfied with the MB200 as a steel amp. I hear lots of people talk about how good it sounds, but it does not sound g...

I actually go guitar to volume pedal to input. The automatic impedance matching isn't a super sophisticated feature; it just dials the setting into the appropriate match for the simulated hardware configuration, so it equivalent for me either way. I don't run any effects before the volume pedal. If ...

I've switched to an Eleven Rack for my normal stage rig. I find the benefits of a direct line out to front-of-house, and a consistent sound room by room, plus a 12 lb weight to justify a move from a real amp to a simulator. I was never particularly impressed with any of the POD products, but the Ele...

Black Widow Speaker

I'm selling the black widow speaker out of my Nashville 400. I looked, and I don't see any identifying markings on it to tell me which black widow it is. It's a black-cornered Nashville 400, serial #00-05590338, if that helps.

$100 + shipping at cost.

Hey Bob, you sounded great when I saw you with Christy Hays at the G&S Lounge. Word up to the music "industry" not existing any more. Cartage and per diem! Ha! And I think you're dead-on about it being better. More money does not equal better music. Hope to see you on the road again so...

'65 RI Twin Reverb and Road Case

Forum, I am parting with my beloved '65 RI Twin Reverb. This has been my stage and recording amp for the last 6 years. Yes, it is a PCB reissue. I can assure you that I have put this amp through more than enough abuse to break it, and it has not broken. It had the reverb wired out of phase from the ...

Ahh! They're brothers! That's awesome! I wonder what other colors he made in 1966. Bobby Bowman was waiting for my call this morning. He knew exactly why I was calling. I love that dude! Ah yes! Same headstock and endplates. I've been looking at lots of old Marlens and the hardware really varies. I saw a 66 with endplates bolted into the body through the front panel. Do you know the serial number of the red guitar? Also, did you add the shobud fretboard? Did you save the parts from ...

Not to disagree with the general sentiment, but I've been surprised by how well my reissue has survived heavy gigging. I've been playing it on stage and off for I think about 5 years now. It has probably played close to a thousand shows. Many of those shows were 3+ hours long, on stages without good...

Has anybody seen this guitar before? ('66 Marlen)

http://bb.steelguitarforum.com/userpix0912/4185_marlen_1.jpg The details: Serial #196688 (I assume this means it was made in '66) 9 pedals, cross-rod for a single knee added later than the pedals, but the lever itself is missing. Single finger changer, pull-release mechanism. No surprises there. Ni...

Johnny Cashdraw! A true gentleman. That experience was highly formative in my philosophy of play anywhere with anyone-- you never know when you'll be seen!
