I am parting with my beloved '65 RI Twin Reverb. This has been my stage and recording amp for the last 6 years.

Yes, it is a PCB reissue. I can assure you that I have put this amp through more than enough abuse to break it, and it has not broken. It had the reverb wired out of phase from the factory, and the usual assortment of substandard chinese electronic parts. The late, great, Jon Bessent of Tonecraft Amps in Austin upgraded the capacitors, fixed the reverb, and serviced this amp periodically up until his death.

It has been loaded into pickup beds, cars, and trailers with terrible shocks. It has criss-crossed the state of Texas countless times, and played literally thousands of shows, including a fair share of 4 hour, red-hot, burn-yourself-on-the-back-panel gigs. It is a champion of music. It will serve you well.

It sounds amazing. It makes my Emmons push pull sing. It's just too heavy to carry around any more and I need the money.

FOR SALE:

'65 Reissue Twin Reverb with cosmetic wear and tear in full working condition.

Available either in the original 1x15 "custom 15" cabinet (which is a standard factory model) or a 71 2x12 oxford speaker cabinet from a different twin reverb. Your choice.

Also available is a very sturdy, politely used road case with no markings and great big off-roading casters. A working musician's delight.

Bump for Burton... I have heard this amp in person with Burton using his push pull, and you cannot ask for better tone. Think Jimmy Crawford on the Faron young cuts from the late 60's. Burton is a good guy, if I did t have 4 amps in my music room I would be all over this.
