Roger, this seems to be what I am looking for but I have a couple of questions.
Is this a Beard Vintage R model? Also can you specify what Fishman pickup is installed? Does it need a preamp? Also can you supply a picture of the upgraded bridge?
Thanks,
Les

Sold: '65 Fender Deluxe 8 Walnut Price Reduced!
**Asking price reduced to $750** I selling my Fender Deluxe 8 due to lack of use. It plays and sounds great, but my focus has been on other musical pursuits and I just don't play it enough. It's a 1965 (verified by looking under the tuner pan) in walnut. It has some superficial damage where the prev...

Great idea, Jeff! I would rather see this take place without the BIAB element being required. The way I would envision it would be someone would post a link to the source song so everyone has the same starting point as a reference, and then just let everyone have at it in their own way. The results ...

Mike - from what I have seen and heard from your playing, you have two things working that will ensure success for you, regardless of the instrument and genre of song. You have a great sense of melody/harmony and rhythm/timing. I think that's why you were so good in the Moonlighters. You were playin...

Andy, I was checking out that Ricky when it was on ebay. Beautiful! I ended up buying an identical '37 Ricky, also from ebay. It looks like the twin of yours. It came from Hilo, HI. How cool is that? Mine had a major issue though. Someone had glued a felt backing to the guitar. Why would you do that...

I have been lucky enough to have a lesson or two from Mike on both lap steel and pedal steel. Mike is an excellent teacher and a nice person to hang around with. As with all the best teachers, he will give much more info than you can process. He records each lesson directly to CD and pauses to make ...

I'm typing this one handed since my other hand is wrapped in ice after trying to pick up this CD after playing it. HOT! So many excellent moments on this CD. Mike, you sound like you are playing with a jazzman's mind and a rocker's heart. I'm fairly certain that you are going to be required to regis...

Here's just a couple of images from Rick's fantastic Summit. It really was a perfect mix of great food, wonderful hosts, the best music, and fantastic people. Kind of like getting the Stones and Beatles together back in the day. Perfect! Any thoughts to an accompanying workshop? Maybe some intro to Hawaiian style for us Newb...
