The Robert Randolph Signature model is now on Peavey's website: http://peavey.com/products/index.cfm/item/1515/118861 It's pictured with the upgraded bridge and nut AND an "adjustable belly rest". The tuners may be upgraded as well. I think it's pretty cool. I'll eventually get one. -Don

Don the bridge on the guitar at 8th street looks different than the one showed in th NAMM commerical. Am I seeing right or what? Let me know what you think? Joe Yes, it looks just like the one on my current Powerslide. The videos at NAMM and the ones where Robert Randolph is playing show a differen...

I just saw one for sale today online: https://8thstreet.com/Product/Get/73387/peavey-power-slide-robert-randolph-signature-guitar-6-string-slide-instrument-with-gigbag Actually, I'm disappointed. It looks like it has the same bridge and nut as the regular model and it costs nearly twice as much. The...

Tom, I'm interested in the Robert Randolph signature model as well so I called Peavey customer service this afternoon. The gentleman I spoke with (I believe his name was Roger) said they didn't have a release date for it, yet. I asked whether they would be selling the upgrading parts for retrofit fo...

New video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qn1LQamv9JM

The video mentions a new feature to the RR model I didn't know about, a bar attachment to move it out from your body. That might be a game changer for some people.

This is what I use: http://www.studybass.com/tools/chord-sc ... e-printer/

You just enter your tuning under the Customize tab and you can put in whatever chord or scale you want.

Bill, I found this on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O0dvAID9FMA It looks like an upcoming Robert Randolph signature model to me. I like the adjustable bridge, single coil neck pickup and the silver sparkle color. I already have a Powerslide, but I'm sensing a new acquisition when this bec...

Good point, Larry. I guess while I've got it apart it doesn't hurt to replace 20 year old string!

Thanks,

Larry,

Thanks for all your help. I just ordered the pot from Mr. Bradshaw.

Tommy and everyone else,

Thanks for posting experiences about the pot. It should cure the scratchiness and loss of high end with my current 250k pot.

Remove the axle shaft first and let that be the last thing to install when working the rope. Larry, Do you need to loosen the screws in the black supports of the main axle shaft to get the axle out? Also, do I try to leave the rope in place as much as possible to get it back together or is that pos...

Has anyone put one of these pots in an Ernie Ball pedal? I have an older EB pedal with the side inputs and I'd like to replace the pot. I wrote Mr. Bradshaw about it and he said it would work, but was a pain to replace.

Thanks,
Don

Do they have any reverb, or are they bone dry? No reverb. I almost always have a little bit of reverb dialed in on my amp whenever I'm playing, but I don't seem to miss it with the Amplug. It's got kind of a tube like fullness to it. Vox does make some Amplugs with a little delay built in (Lead and...

I have a Vox Amplug AC30 and think it sounds great. It's perfect for travel or sitting outside and playing.

I also have a Peavey Ampkit and it's OK, but I greatly prefer the Amplug. It's simpler with less wires and sounds much better.

Jason,

Nickel or stainless? I've got a Stage One on order and I'd like to order some strings in advance. I know that it comes with stainless strings, but I use nickel on everything else (guitars and lap steel, this is my first pedal steel).

Thanks,
Don
