Hey, Stormy, I doubt I'll have a chance to tab that out before I leave town - won't be back till the 31st. If Pete Burak points you in the right direction and you don't feel you need the tab anymore... let me know. Otherwise I'll be happy to tab it out. Jerry does use some C pedal licks in Dire Wolf...

I can't give you any advice since I've never dealt with them. However, as a fellow consumer I have to say that you are NOT being treated with the "customer is always right" philosophy that guides many companies. Keep up the fight. One thing is for sure... the power of the internet is not t...

I worked out the Dire Wolf solo, pretty much note for note. I'll try and jot it down for ya before I head south of the border.

I appreciate the lick... and especially having the wav file so handy to listen to! Good work, Ingo.

Happy Y2K!

I was also thrown off by "Gsus2." I don't think that it's (technically) correct. G2 I understand, but I don't think it's really a suspended chord.
[This message was edited by Dean Forshee on 01 January 2000 at 07:30 AM.]

Nice post. I know that I have licks that use those 6th fret chords that you've listed, but I wouldn't have thought of them when listing Dsus4 chords.

I own a BR-9 and really like it. Great tone and as has been mentioned, the spacing of the strings is great for slants. My recollection of the production years seems to be at odds with previous posts here. When I went to the Gibson web site (maybe I should go back and double check) they claimed that ...

As for the delay, seems to me you can get away with using the cheaper stomps. I use an "inline" (that's the brand name) delay with a tele, and everyone raves about the tone. It can't be that that particular stomp box is so wonderful, I only paid about 50 bucks for it, new. I think you can ...

I 2nd that emotion. I tried dumping the whole thing into MS Word (changing the font to a proportional one) but it was still unreadable. Anyone know how to fix it?

I was thinking it was probably the Emmy Lou Harris version, but couldn't remember if there was a steel break on that one or not.

I just got the CD today, and Gary is truly a virtuoso! Really great stuff! He has a nice tone, and his playing on the C6th may rekindle my interest in learning on that neck (I have never gotten around to the C6th tuning). If anyone loves to hear the steel up front and in your face, this is a great C...

Much obliged.

OK, Ricky, I'm askin'. If you know which are in E9th and which are in C6th, I'd love to know 'cause it'll determine how interested I am in getting ahold of the tape.

Thanks.

<<What album was "Kind Woman" on? Their first?>>

I think it was on Buffalo Springfield's first album. Maybe it was called "Retrospective" or something like that. It is an awesome solo. One of the first that really attracted me to the steel.

Just curious.

Hey, Ricky, How the heck do ya "go fix it?" I mean, when you've submitted a post and realize that something is in error, how do you go in and change it? This is probably something that I should be asking bOb rather than bothering you with... but I'm just curious. BTW, thanks for all the ta...
