Larry was a great guy. I met him in 2000. We used to have lunch together and of course we talked about steel guitars, family and God. I haven’t heard from him in over a year and was thinking about him just last week. My condolences to all of his family and loved ones.

You can usually pick up a Nashville 112 for around $350.00 or a NV 400 for $275.00 to $400.00. Both of these would serve you well.

I bought a Barcus Berry pickup for a mandolin many years ago , probably 25+, and it came with a putty like material that you put between the pickup and the body of the instrument. Mostly I use my NV400 or NV112 with the amps reverb and a Wampler Faux Analog Delay. Both amps have the Mod 4 spring reverb in them.
At church I go direct out of a Stereo Steel with TC M one XL effects. No speakers , I use IEM’s.
